In the past years, we have witnessed some extraordinary architectural designs using bamboo as one of the primary sustainable natural materials.
We made a choice of our favorite designers and their projects with some fantastic examples of bamboo as a leading material in their ideas:
Their extraordinary villa project, built in 2022, is in Ibiuna, Brasil. The bamboo ceiling gives this beautiful outdoor space a rustic touch, yet the furniture selection makes it modern and cozy.

This unique courtside teahouse was created by Chinese architects on the lake in Yangzhou. The best description of this space came from the author itself:
"The tea house is known as the bamboo courtyard as it mainly uses bamboo to create an interesting play of vertical and horizontal lines," said the architect. "In some spaces, the vertical and horizontal elements intensify to form a psychedelic perspective, evoking a profound sensory perception."

Using bamboo panels on the walls or even the doors stages up any space with a genuinely eco-friendly vibe. This studio created an astonishing family house in Greece and made an example of adequately incorporating the interior into the exterior space.
