Meet the Founder

I'm Lidija Popovic, an interior designer with 17 years of professional experience.
Over the years, I've come to believe that good interior design goes far beyond aesthetics. It's about creating spaces that work for the people who live in them — and making thoughtful choices about the materials, furniture and products we bring into our homes.
I founded Sustainable Interior District to share practical design knowledge, explore more responsible approaches to interiors and help people make informed decisions without compromising on beauty or functionality.
